Our Experience with Diamante Swim Spas has been a nightmare from the onset of buying it. After twelve heater element replacements, two motherboards, two jet pump replacements, and- come to find out- was built without a low water shutoff mechanism (yes, even if the water is 'slightly' low, everything burns up) and high temperature shutoff. Anyone who would like to pick up a basically brand new Swim Spa for little$ and is willing to put in an extra $1,200 to make it right- contact me. The local dealer finally figured out what the problems were two years AFTER we purchased the damn thing for $17,000- bring your own trailer and people- Ill help you load
: Purchased teh Grand Canyon swim spa from Diamante (now Relaxation Spas)
: in 2011. Every step of the experience (except for the initial sale)
: has been a nightmare. They said 2-3 weeks for manufacture. We were
: fine with this as we wanted to prep the yard. At the end of 3 weeks
: we started calling to get a delivery date. They couldn't deliver for
: another 2 weeks. The day of delivery, I took the afternoon off of
: work, only for them to call my husband at the delivery time and tell
: us that it won't be delivered. Another week. Another date set. 2 more
: weeks. The crane company wouldn't come out until Diamante gave them a
: 1 hour delivery time. Diamante then called me and said that the
: delivery drivers would now deliver it the next day, or I could pay
: the crane company overtime for delivery. I told them no way - I was
: sick of their crap already, and I already paid over $1,000 for the
: crane, and I'm not paying any more - it's their fault. They finally
: relented, and my spa was delivered. (Oh - and they wanted certified
: funds - before they would take the spa off the trailer). We were told
: to build a base of pea-gravel for the spa and that it would be easier
: for their guys to level. No problem, that worked well for us. The
: delivery guy (who I don't know if he worked for Diamante or a
: delivery company) ran thru some basics and then left. It was never
: leveled. Numerous calls to the company to come back and level it -
: another 2-3 weeks. After it was finally leveled, I got into the spa
: to clean out the crap left it in (resin dust, plastic debris, etc.),
: only to find that 3 of the jet heads fell off in my hands. More calls
: back to the company. Another visit in a couple weeks. I FINALLY could
: fill the spa! Now, I've still got 2 jets not working, including one
: of the main current jets. More calls, and still waiting. We're now 6
: months...
