: We just purchased a used 2001 Marquis Coastal Destiny spa and everything
: seems to work but the GFCI trips 2x per day. We can use the spa..it
: heats, jets work (we can heat it and run the jets at the same time)
: but it trips at about 2pm and 2am everyday. Sometimes the spa won't
: even be running but it will trip the GFCI. Also, if we hit the soak
: timer it trips immediately. Thanks for your input.
The first step is to ground fault test every load in the tub with a megohmmeter that will go to at least 20 megohms. You must isolate each load, especially from a neutral connection, then perform the ground fault test with the megger.
