Tubguy, no offense mate, but thats a bit "Chest Out... I've been in this industry forever so you cant tell me anything I dont already know" dont you think. I wasnt meaning to offend anyone, I was simply looking for the AMP rating for the softub on the net. It was raining and my Softub is not undercover. In truth I was just to slack to go outside and have a look at the info on the Hydromate. I get that you would like more info on me, truth is, I wont be able to compete with the obvious "decades" you have been in the industry for so I wont even go into that fight. I can tell you I am the only authorised service technician in Australia for Softub. Also that I am the poor guy that makes everything Australian compliant when it gets here electrically and physically. (Thankfully this is less and less now.) On top of that I do board repairs, and have retrofit out more than 30 motors from the P27 back to the P26. I'm a technician that also hires out the spas. Anything goes wrong anywhere in the country... It's on me to get it working. Thats about as far out as my chest goes from within this industry. Me personally though... I am a perfectionist that needs to know how everything works if I am going to work with it. My background is in Pinball Jukebox, and Video Game repairs, honestly... these Softubs are a walk in the park compared to them. I'm interested to know something from you though... How come you didnt tell the customer about the 24 Hour timer feature? Is it something you guys dont tell your customers for a reason? If so I wont tell your customers that ask about it. Both you and nloty I now see are both Softub affilated in some way. I have read a post from nloty that concerns me. I dont think this should be on open forum though.
