: I bought a Futura Spas hot tub from Hot Tub Headquarters on ebay, now
: seems to be Spa Guys. It sat for two years before I installed it and
: is now out of warranty. While fixing a broken pump where a factory
: idiot probably stepped on the intake fitting before shipping it, I
: noticed the amperage on the pump did not look right. It turns out
: that the factory put a 6HP sticker on a 3HP pump. It was adverized as
: a 2HP + 6HP system. They mount the motor such that the faceplate is
: away from the access door so you can not see it. Be careful of liars.
: The 6HP sticker was not from Waterway nor the motor manufacturer. It
: was deliberately placed so that it is easy to see and a person is
: unlikely to use a mirror to view the faceplate on the other side.

: Anyone ordering from one of these companies, check you motor
: facelplates!

have had it now for a year and have had no problems with anything yet.... i will for sure have to reinsulate befor next winter as it did drive my bills up about 80 dollars a month... kinda figured it would with the way it was insulated
