You would be better served by just paying the dealer to do this. I think the board costs around $150 and it only takes a decent tech a little more than half an hour to do, so labor costs are minimal. If you try to save a trip charge and a half hour labor charge, you run the risk of massive damage. The last customer I had that did this who didn't know what he was doing, it ended up costing him well over a $1000 to replace the IQ2020 box, the burnt out breakers in the sub-panel and completely replace burnt wiring between the sub-panel and the tub.
You stated yourself that you have minimal electrical knowledge. Trust me when I say that playing inside an IQ2020 box is not for the neophyte. I don't mind helping people on this board, but I expect them to have some level of skill with electrical/electronic circuits.
