I have had my Hot Tub with Genisis Device for 2 years and love it...
It requires very little maintainance....I test about once every 2 weeks and usually just have to add a little PH down every other time or so......
I do only run my Hot tub for about 70 minutes 4 times a day and the levels stay nearly perfect with almost no help from me....

I change my water once per year....Whether it needs it or not! lol...
I have never checked tds...Though maybe I will just to see what it says...

I have never had black dust or white floaties....
And the water I fill with isn't all that great, Las Vegas doesnt have good water....But I use the metal remover and follow the setup directions exactly.......

I do have a question though....

Do I have to use Genisis tru blu?
I cant find it in Vegas anymore , cuz my spa store closed....
But Leslies pool supply has a similiar product, the only difference is the purity is 99% from Leslies instead of 98% from Tru-Blu......

Can I use the stuff from Leslies?
I mean it seems to be the same thing...Is it?
Or is there something I'm overlooking?
