With an Arctic Spa you will want to program more filter cycles with a shorter duration. We have been recommending that Arctic customers use a 4/1 filter program. 4 filter cycles with a 1 hour duration. This seems to have fixed the low Bromine readings with our customers that have the Genesis systems in an Arctic tub. Be sure to use a metal/scale control product in your tub. We have had quite a few customers ignore this. Which created a build up on the system "electrodes", this build up of course would prevent the system from generating the right levels of Bromine. : Finally a thread on the Genesis System. I have had a Genesis system for
: about a year and a half. It is installed in a Arctic Spa tub which
: does not have a pump that can run 24/7. I have never been able to get
: the genesis system to produce any significant Bromine. I have had
: ideal salt levels, ideal ph, ideal TA. I have tested for phosphates,
: there were no significant levels. The latest suggestion was to add a
: few pucks to start off the reaction. I did that for two days, got an
: extremely high reading and then removed the pucks, and within a
: couple of days I had a zero Bromine level. I have never had a black
: ring around the tub. I am extremely frustrated please help.
