() Hi,
Thanks for all this information it is very interesting and beneficial to users. I have a new Genesis system on a Pacific Spa since Sept 07. First fill ended up being a nightmare, ph, TA extremely high, Bromine at zero and black dust.
After contacting my supplier, he advise that we need to change the electrode and the water. We did. The old electrode looked brand new, but we still installed the new one.
Before activating my Genesis, I made sure my water was PH 6.2, TA 40, TH 100, TDS Sodium 170ppm, Total TDS 400. I've then added 5 bottle of salt to the 422 gal. water. I've started the Genesis and it has been set at 10 for the last 24hours and the Bromine reading is still at 1 (too low), the PH 6.8, TA 70, TH 200. Please note that values for PH, TA and TH are approx. as I only have the color strip.
Any idea? Can their be anything else malfunctionning with the Genesis system other than the electrode?
Any electronic water tester that you would recommend?
