Z-Wave Spa Control

Complete Hot Tub Systems are controlled with the most technologically advanced, state of the art, wireless control system. The water proof Hand Held Transceiver does everything from programming timed cycles, adjusting and displaying water temperature, and turning on and off all the various hot tub features. Options allow for freeze protection, control through your computer and even access through the internet ("there's an app for that").

In addition to controlling your hot tub, this system can be integrated into your house for complete home automation. With advanced Z-Wave technology, it can control lighting through light switches, dimmers, lamp modules and outlets, appliances, heating/air conditioning and even lock and unlock doors.

Included with this Control System:

Options & Accessories

Freeze (Air Temperature) Sensor

Add the Freeze / Air Temperature Sensor to installations where below-freezing outdoor temperatures are a concern. The sensor is designed to protect the equipment and plumbing against freeze damage. The sensor plugs into the circuit board on the back of the Multi-Wave Receiver and turns ON the filter pump when air temperature drops below the programmed temperature. The freeze programming mode is not accessible unless this sensor is used.

USB Controller

The USB Controller allows for access the the entire Z-Wave network using a PC. The USB Controller, when paired with a variety of applications software can give entire system control, with remote access through the Internet. It's also necessary if you desire to install periodic upgrades to the programming of the Multi-Wave Receiver and Hand Held Transceiver for increased functionality.

Software to operate the USB Controller, and Updates are available form the manufacturers website.

35-ft. Antenna Extension Cable

When a structure impedes transmission between the Hand Held Transceiver and Multi-Wave Receiver, you can use the 35-ft. Antenna Extension Cable Assembly to relocate the antenna from the Multi-Wave Receiver to the area of operation, ensuring that communication between the Hand-Held unit and the control center is successful. Includes instruction manual.

Z-Wave Wall Switch / Receptacle

The basic Z-Wave Wall Switch can be added into the control system and becomes operable from the Hand Held Transceiver. Perfect for turning on and off outdoor lighting, while sitting in your hot tub. Also available are dimmers and three-way switches. (instruction manual)

The Wall Receptacle replaces a standard 15 Amp receptacle in your home and offers one outlet controlled by the Hand Held Transceiver and one live outlet. This is a great way to integrate the technology directly into a wall plug without an unsightly appliance module sticking out of the wall. (instruction manual)

Secondary Wireless Hand-Held Transceiver

The Z-Wave Control system includes one Wireless Hand Held Transceiver, which is the focal point of convenience, transmitting user commands to the Multi-Wave Receiver and displaying the status of the equipment, water temperature, thermostat set point, heating status, time clock settings and overall communication status. Adding a secondary Hand Held Transceiver can add convenience.

The Hand Held Transceiver floats if thrown into the hot tub, is water-submersible and shock resistant (requires three (3) AA batteries). Expected battery life is approximately one year in typical use. Up to five Hand Held Transceivers can be used in a single installation.
